Do You Feel Like You Are Not In The Right Job Or Geographic Area?
By Mark Yow
Do you feel like you are not in the right job or even in the right geographic location? Then, here is the bread for the week for you.
There is an alignment and order to our lives that I believe are written in our book before we were knitted in our mother’s womb. I believe that the Holy Spirit has showed me that there is a sweet spot for your life, there is a place that you can be there’s a saying in sports About being in the zone.
So, do all of us perfectly match up the alignment in our life about where to go to school? What job to take? Who to marry? What city to live in? How many children to have, and many other concerns that we have in life? I do believe in the perfect will of God but I’m not sure how many of us exactly get to that perfect spot, but I do know that if we seek God’s face and seek his plan for our life that he has permissive will for us to be able to thrive and flourish us where we are but we also learn to hear and see him in a way from his devotion to our lives that could exactly line us up in his thoughts about our life. This has been a very controversial subject over the years and by no means am I giving a perfect exhortation of what I’m speaking. I just want to say that no matter where you are when you seek to hear the voice of God I believe he responds and get you either in or as close to that sweet spot.
So, I want to take a look at some scripture that is out of the book of James 4:13-17. Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil. Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.
This verse sounds like a rebuke, but it is an admonition and call from God to take stock in your life of exactly who is leading your life and who knows the best for you and who wants the best for you because they actually died for you. When you think in the terms of Galatians 2:20 where it says that your life is not your own, but this is Jesus’s life to live through you. then God is bidding you – “Come to me and find out where we match up, where is your sphere of influence, where is your provision, where is your joy?”
Also remember the context Jeremiah 29: 10 through 14, Which says for thus says the Lord, when 70 years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill my good word to you, to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all of your heart. I will be found by you, declares the lord and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.
The Lord is always loving and kind and he is always trying to bring you into his perfect will and bring you and transform you closer to Christ this is his heart in saying this and a lot of times we put ourselves in Babylon we put ourselves in exile because we do not seek the Lord about not only are we in the right job are we in the right place but most everything about our life. Rick says the Holy Spirit is the helper not the doer and we are the doer and the responsibility of the doer is to be obedient to God to seek his face and do what he says and then the Holy Spirit will help us be exactly where we are supposed to be. Meditate on this, ponder on this, ruminate on this, and let the Lord give you revelation about your own life today I’ve declared decree over you today that the Lord will speak a proper alignment in order into your life for the times of head to return everything the enemy has stolen and bring a joy and an abundance back into your lives in Jesus mighty name. I hope you enjoy your bread for the week love from MKBA family from the studios here at the campus of MorningStar Ministries at Fort Mill.
